Mike Perry – CEO & President, Emerald Operating Co.

Mike is a registered professional Geologist and independent oil and gas producer with exploration, development, and operational experience related to coal bed methane (CBM), horizontal, and conventional oil and gas. In his 40+ years of professional experience, Mike has established a proven track record in the generation, implementation, construction, and management of oil and gas projects.

Sandra Perry – Vice President and Secretary, Emerald Operating Co.

Sandy is a Professional Geologist, specializing in oil & gas, minerals, and geothermal exploration. Most of her 38+ years of experience have focused on utilizing satellite and airborne remote sensing technology, consulting for both major and independent companies worldwide. The projects she has managed or participated in span six continents, working directly with project geologists—especially those exploring and evaluating unmapped and remote terrain.

Gerald ‘Red’ Luken – Director of Field Operations, Emerald Operating Co.

Red plans, supervises, and implements all of Emerald’s field operations on wells and production facilities. He has over 30 years of oil and gas field experience including pumper, driller, toolpusher, and completion supervisor.

Tom Throne, Attorney – Land & Regulatory Advisor, Emerald Operating Co.

Tom has over 40 years of experience in both Wyoming oil and gas regulatory matters as well as Wyoming mineral title issues. Tom will direct the company’s efforts in navigating any title or regulatory issues. 

David Seneshen, Ph.D. – Geochemical & Regulatory Advisor, Emerald Operating Co.

Dr. David Seneshen is the president of Geochemical Insight, LLC, a Denver-based company that provides baseline environmental and exploration consulting for the oil & gas and mining industries. Dr. Seneshen earned his Ph.D. in exploration geochemistry from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, in 1997. He was a co-owner of Vista Geoscience in Golden, Colorado, from 2007 to 2015, where he managed baseline environmental (surface and groundwater monitoring) and exploration projects for petroleum and mining companies as well as state and federal governmental agencies. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and the Association of Applied Geochemists. Dr. Seneshen currently provides geochemical and regulatory advice to Emerald Operating Company.
